In August 1998, one plant was selected from the resultant progeny for branching, flower and foliage size. Asexual reproduction of the new variety began in September 1998 in Enkhuizen, The Netherlands.
Tests & Trials: The tests and trials for 'Agpatpur' were conducted in a polyhouse at BioFlora Inc. in St. Thomas, Ontario during the spring of 2006. The trials included 15 plants of each variety. Rooted cuttings were transplanted into 15 cm pots on April 13, 2006. Observations and measurements were taken from 10 plants of each variety. All colour measurements were made using the RHS colour chart 2001.
