TREE: medium vigour, ramified type, spreading growth habit, fruit bearing both on spurs and long shoots, begins flowering mid-season, time for harvest is late to very late in the season, time for eating maturity is late in the season

ONE-YEAR-OLD SHOOT: medium thickness, medium length of internode, medium brown on side exposed to sunlight, medium degree of pubescence on distal half, medium number of lenticels

LEAF BLADE: outwards attitude in relation to shoot, medium length, narrow to medium width, medium length to width ratio, medium intensity of green on upper side, crenate incisions of margin on distal half, medium density pubescence on lower side
PETIOLE: medium length, small extent of anthocyanin colouration from base

FLOWER: predominantly dark pink at balloon stage, medium diameter with petals pressed into horizontal position, intermediate arrangement of petals, stigmas positioned at same level as anthers

YOUNG FRUIT: medium extent of anthocyanin over colour
FRUIT: medium sized, medium to tall, medium diameter, medium to large height to diameter ratio, ovoid shape, moderate ribbing, moderate crowning at calyx end, small to medium eye, medium length sepal, aperture of locules moderately open in transverse section

Origin & Breeding History: 'Inolov' originated from a controlled cross between 'X4712' Gala and 'X6908' in Angers, France in 1992. 'Inolov' was selected for further propagation and testing based on fruit flavour and resistance to common strains of scab.

Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'Inolov' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, application number 4071742, purchased from the Groupe d'étude et de contrôle des variétés et des semences (GEVES) in Beaucouzé, France. The trials were conducted by GEVES at the Institut national de la recherche agronomique in Beaucouzé, France from 2014 to 2016.
