Tests & Trials: The comparative trial for 8S5505' was conducted in 2024 at the Summerland Varieties Corp. trial block in Summerland, BC. The trial consisted of a minimum of 10 trees per variety planted in 2009 and grafted onto M9 rootstock. Trees were planted approximately 0.9 metres apart within a row and the rows were 3 metres apart. Observations and measurements were taken on 10 trees or 10 parts of trees for all varieties.
