Resulting progeny plants were asexually propagated with 'DrisBlueTwenty' being selected in August 2004 based on plant vigour, growth habit, chilling requirement, time of fruit ripening, fruit size, firmness and waxy bloom. The variety was further evaluated in Linn County, Oregon from 2011 to 2018.

Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'DrisBlueTwenty' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, application number 20200174, purchased from the Community Plant Variety Office in Angers, France. The trial was conducted at the Post-Registration Variety Experimentation Station of the Polish Research Centre for Cultivar Testing in Maslowice, Poland from 2020 to 2024.
