Summary: The one-year-old shoot of 'FC11-118'is greenish red whereas the one-year-old-shoot of the reference varieties are green. The leaf of 'FC11-118' is larger than those of the reference varieties. The leaf of 'FC11-118' has a low to medium length to width ratio whereas those of the reference varieties have a medium to high length to width ratio. The flower of 'FC11-118' has a green receptacle whereas the flower of 'Legacy' has a blue receptacle. The colour of the unripe fruit with bloom is light to medium green for 'FC11-118' whereas it is dark green for 'Legacy' and medium to dark green for 'Draper'.

PLANT: medium vigour, semi-upright growth habit, fruiting on one-year-old shoots only, first vegetative bud burst begins mid-season
ONE-YEAR-OLD SHOOT: greenish red, short internode length along upper half
LEAF: low to medium length to width ratio, ovate shape, dark green colour on upper side, medium glaucosity on upper side, entire margin
FLOWERING: begins mid to late season on one-year-old shoots
RECEPTACLE: green
FLOWER BUD: medium intensity of anthocyanin colouration
COROLLA: ellipsoid shape
COROLLA TUBE: medium to large size, white, absent or very weak intensity of anthocyanin colouration on outer side, absent or weak conspicuousness of ridges
INFRUCTESCENCE: medium to dense
UNRIPE FRUIT: light to medium intensity of green colour (with bloom), fruit ripening begins mid to lateseason on one-year-old shoots
FRUIT: large, oblate in longitudinal section, deep calyx basin, very firm, medium to high sweetness, medium acidity

Origin & Breeding History: 'FC11-118' originated from a controlled cross between the varieties 'ZF05-086', as the female parent, and 'Cargo', as the male parent, made in 2008 in Lowell, Oregon, USA. 'FC11-118' was selected from the resulting progeny based on fruit size, firmness, and harvest date. Propagation was conducted by softwood cuttings and further testing occurred from 2008 to 2014.
Tests & Trials: The comparative trial for 'FC11-118' was conducted by Expert Agriculture Team Ltd., in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada during the 2022 growing season. One year old plants were transplanted in April 2021 into raised beds, covered with plastic and irrigated with drip lines. The plots were arranged in an RBC design with 4 replicates. Each replicate consisted of 3 plants for a total of 12 plants of each variety. Plants were spaced approximately 90 centimetres apart within rows with 3 metres between rows. Measurements were taken from 10 plants or parts of 10 plants of each variety. Mean differences were significant at the 5% confidence probability level based on a paired Student's t-test.
