'DrisBlackEleven' was selected for its primocane flowering and flavour. 'DrisBlackEleven' was further propagated and underwent additional testing in Santa Cruz, California from 2012 to 2014.

Tests & Trials: The comparative trial for 'DrisBlackEleven' was conducted in Chilliwack, British Columbia during the 2018 growing season. The plots were arranged in a randomized complete block design. Each variety was planted in 3 replicates with 3 plants per replicate for a total of 9 plants of each variety. Plants were spaced approximately 1.07 metres apart. Measurements were taken from 9 plants or parts of 9 plants of each variety. Mean differences were significant at the 5% confidence probability level based on a paired Student's t-test.
