Origin & Breeding History: 'PKM02' originated from a hybridization between an un-named selection from a breeding line of Campanula isophylla and an un-named selection from a breeding line of Campanula carpatica. The hybridization was conducted in May 2009 by Christian Hald Madsen in Sohus, Denmark. 'PKM02' was selected in November 2012 for its attractive plant growth habit and violet flowers.

Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'PKM02' is based on the UPOV Report of Technical Examination, application number 2012/2546, purchased from the Community Plant Variety Office in Anger, France. The trials were conducted by the National Institute of Agricultural Botany in Cambridge, United Kingdom in 2013. Colour determinations were made using the 2007 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart.
