The leaf margin is sharp with dentations that are deep. The flowers are yellow. The siliques are medium in length with a long beak and a short pedicel. The plants are medium in height at maturity. Seed colour is black. 'SW99100920 RR' has very low erucic acid content and very low glucosinolates. 'SW99100920 RR' is resistant to glyphosate herbicides. 'SW99100920 RR' is resistant to blackleg (Leptosphaeria maculans).

Origin & Breeding History: 'SW99100920 RR' was derived from a cross made in 1997 in Svalov, Sweden. Plant selection was made in the F2 for quality traits and blackleg tolerance. In subsequent generations pedigree selection was performed. One of the plants in the last selection is the original plant from which breeder seed has been produced. The line was tested for yield, oil content, glucosinolate content, stalk stiffness, blackleg tolerance and maturity.

Tests & Trials: Tests and trials were conducted during the summers of 2003/2004 in Aberdeen, Saskatchewan. Plots consisted of 8 rows, 3 meters in length with 15 cm row spacing. There were 2 replications laid out in a RCB design.
