Summary: The plant growth habit of 'IBSZ0004' is spreading while that of 'IBSZ0001' and 'Snowball' is semi-upright. The plant of 'IBSZ0004' has a medium to strong degree of branching while the plant of 'IBSZ0001' has a weak to medium degree of branching. The stem and calyx of 'IBSZ0004' are green tinged lightly with purple while those of 'Snowflake' are purple. The lower petal of 'IBSZ0004' is broad to very broad whereas the lower petal of 'Snowflake' is medium to broad and that of 'Snowball' is narrow to medium width. The lower petal of 'IBSZ0004' is obovate shaped while the lower petal is oblong for 'IBSZ0001' and 'Snowball'.

Origin & Breeding History: 'IBSZ0004' originated from a controlled hybrid cross conducted by the breeder, Har Stemkens, in March 2009, in Enkhuizen, the Netherlands. The cross was made between the female parent, a proprietary seedling designated 'K0978-3'and the male parent, a proprietary seeding designated as 'K1058-1'. The resultant seed was sown in August 2009. A single seedling was selected in March 2010, in Enkhuizen, based on plant vigour, branching characteristics, flower number and time of flowering.
Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'IBSZ0004' is based on the UPOV Report of Technical Examination, application number 2015/1116, purchased from the Community Plant Variety Office in Angers, France. The trials were conducted by the National Institute of Agricultural Botany in Cambridge, United Kingdom in 2016. Colour determinations were made using the 2007 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart.
