Origin & Breeding History: 'KLEDP17262' originated from a mutation of the parent variety 'KLEDP14206' discovered and developed by the breeder, Lena Gutbrodt, in Stuttgart, Germany. The mutation was discovered in a flower bed at the 2014 Flower Trials in the Netherlands and was selected based on its flower colour pattern. The new variety 'KLEDP17262' was evaluated in greenhouse trials in Stuttgart from September 2014 to April 2015 where it was assessed for flower colour pattern, uniformity and stability.

Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'KLEDP17262' is based on the UPOV Report of Technical Examination, application number 2018/1220, purchased from the Community Plant Variety Office, in Angers, France. The trials were conducted by the Naktuinbouw, in Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands in 2019. The colour determinations were made using the 2015 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart.
