Origin & Breeding History: 'KLEDP18255' originated from a controlled cross conducted by the breeder Lena Gutbrodt, in Stuttgart, Germany in June 2013. The cross was made between the female parent variety designated DCP-2006-0024 and the male parent variety designated DCP-2009-0069. A single unique seedling was selected in July 2014, in Stuttgart, based on its growth habit and flower colour. The new variety 'KLEDP18255' was evaluated in greenhouse trials in Stuttgart from September 2014 to April 2015 where it was further assessed for growth habit and flower colour.
Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'KLEDP18255' is based on the UPOV Report of Technical Examination, application number 2019/1467, purchased from the Community Plant Variety Office, in Angers, France. The trials were conducted by the Naktuinbouw, in Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands in 2020. The colour determinations were made using the 2015 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart.
