Selection criteria included non-clinging habit, profusion of semi-nodding flowers, summer flowering, suitability to garden situations and cold tolerance to United States Department of Agriculture Hardiness zone 3.
Tests & Trials: 'Evipo013' was tested at St. Thomas, Ontario. Ten bare root liners of both the candidate and reference variety were planted in the field on September 18, 2004.
