Resulting seeds from the cross were germinated and grown to maturity. In February 2012, one plant was selected for its growth habit and flower colour. This plant was further propagated by cuttings, grown in pots and included in a trial conducted from August 2012 to July 2013. The new variety was named 'Suncatha 2335'.

Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'Suncatha 2335' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, application number 29497, purchased from the Plant Variety Protection Office of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries in Japan. The trials were conducted by the Center for Seeds and Seedlings at the Nishinihon Station in Okayama, Japan in 2017. The colour determinations were made using the 2007 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart.
