Summary: The terminal lobe apex of the leaf blade of 'Georgia' is right-angled while it is obtuse for 'Verdon'. The neck of the fruit of 'Georgia' is short to medium length while it is medium to long for 'Verdon'. The density of the prickles of the fruit vestiture of 'Georgia' is very sparse to sparse whereas it is sparse to medium for 'Verdon'.

Origin & Breeding History: 'Georgia' (breeders reference DRCE1301) originated from a hand-pollinated cross made in 2016 between Seminis proprietary breeding lines 'EUR-Y316-1044GY' and 'EURY313-1017GY' in Bergschenhoek, Netherlands. The resulting hybrid was selected in 2017 for its yield and higher percentage of medium sized fruit.
Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'Georgia' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, application number KMK1412, purchased from Naktuinbouw in Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands. The trial was conducted by Naktuinbouw in Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands in 2021.
