Variety used for comparison: 'Sencere'

Summary: The fruit neck of 'Sensate' is shorter than that of 'Sencere'. The ground colour of the fruit skin of 'Sensate' is of medium intensity whereas that of 'Sencere' is medium to dark. The creasing on the fruit of 'Sensate' is of a weak to medium degree while that of 'Sencere' is weak.

Origin & Breeding History: 'Sensate' (breeder designation NUN 62060 CUL) originated from a cross made between two proprietary double haploid lines in 2014 in the Netherlands. The resulting variety 'Sensate' was selected for its fruit quality and resistance to powdery mildew. The date of first production was 2015.

Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'Sensate' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, application number KMK1334, purchased from the Naktuinbouw in Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands. The trial was conducted by Naktuinbouw in Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands in 2019.
