Summary: The plants of 'G15307' are shorter than the plants of both reference varieties. The leaf of 'G15307' is smaller than the leaf of 'Knockout'. 'G15307' has a daisy eyed double flower head whereas 'Knockout' has a single type of flower head. The ray floret of 'G15307' is shorter than the ray floret of 'Knockout' and longer than the ray floret of 'G13518'. The colour of the inner side of the ray floret of 'G15307' is mainly greener than yellow with orange distributed on the distal half whereas the inner side of the ray floret for 'Knockout' is yellow with light red pink distributed throughout and the inner side of the ray floret for 'G13518' is yellow orange with orange red distributed on the distal three quarters.

Origin & Breeding History: 'G15307' was bred and developed by the breeder Irene E. Palmer formerly of GardenGenetics LLC, in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, USA. 'G15307' originated from an open pollinated cross in July 2014 between the proprietary breeding line designated '3165-1-2M-2M-1-2' as the female parent and pollen from an unknown male parent. From the resulting progeny, 'G15307' was selected on July 24, 2015 for its vigorous plant growth, a mounded well branched plant growth habit, semi-double flower type, large yellow coloured flowers, continuous flowering, dark green to bronze purple foliage, and good resistance to powdery mildew. 'G15307' was first propagated asexually using vegetative tip cuttings on August 1, 2015 in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, USA.
Tests & Trials: The comparative trial of 'G15307' was conducted in a polyhouse during the spring of 2018 at BioFlora Inc., in St. Thomas, Ontario. The trial included a total of 15 plants each of the candidate and reference variety. All plants were grown from rooted cuttings and transplanted into 15 cm pots on April 11, 2018. Unless otherwise indicated, the observations and measurements were taken from 10 plants, or 10 parts of plants, of each variety on June 7, 2018. All colour determinations were made using the 2007 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart.
