The leaves of 'DGAUR137' are longer and wider than those of 'KLEGL06261'. The area covered by anthocyanin colouration on the leaf of 'DGAUR137' is medium to large while the area is small to medium for 'KLEGL06261'. The flower of 'DGAUR137' is wider than the flower of 'KLEGL06261'. The petal veins are of medium conspicuousness for 'DGAUR137' while they have a strong conspicuousness for 'KLEGL06261'. Origin & Breeding History: 'DGAUR137' was bred and developed by the breeder Gavriel Danziger, in Moshav Mishmar Hashiva, Israel. The open pollinated cross occurred in October 2010, between the female parent, 'GO-Z-23' and an unknown male parent. 'DGAUR137' was selected from the resultant progeny in September 2011, based on its plant growth habit, time of flowering and foliage colour. Asexual reproduction of the new variety by vegetative cuttings was first conducted in September 2011 in Moshav Mishmar Hashiva, Israel.
Tests & Trials: The comparative trial for 'DGAUR137' was conducted in a polyhouse at BioFlora Inc. in St. Thomas, Ontario in the spring and summer of 2018. The trial included 20 plants of each variety. Rooted cuttings were transplanted into 15 cm pots on April 12, 2018. Observations and measurements were taken from 10 plants, or parts of plants, of each variety on June 10, 2018. All colour measurements were made using the 2007 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour chart.
