Origin & Breeding History: 'Inheuredfu' is a product of a planned breeding program and was bred and developed by the breeder, Mr. Walter Ludwig, in Heidesheim, Germany. It originated from an open pollinated cross conducted in July 2007 between the variety 'Peach Flambe', as the female parent, and an unknown male parent. 'Inheuredfu' was selected from the resultant progeny in April 2008 for its leaf colour, leaf appearance, and plant growth habit. 'Inheuredfu' was first propagated vegetatively by cuttings taken in May 2008 in Heidesheim, Germany.

Tests & Trials: The comparative trial for 'Inheuredfu' was conducted in a polyhouse during the spring of 2014 at BioFlora Inc. in St. Thomas, Ontario. The trial included 20 plants each of the candidate and reference variety. Rooted cuttings were transplanted into 15 cm diameter pots on April 16, 2014. All observations and measurements were taken from 10 plants or parts of plants of each variety on June 9, 2014. The characteristics for the flowering stem and flower were not observed because none were produced by the plants of the candidate or reference variety during the comparative trial period. All colour determinations were made using the 2007 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart.
