Summary: In spring, the upper side of the leaf blade for 'G2X885411' is dark brown whereas the upper side of the leaf blade for 'G2X88544' is light brown. At mid-season, the upper side of the leaf blade for 'G2X885411' is brown green whereas it is dark green for 'G2X88544'. In fall, the upper side of the leaf blade for 'G2X885411' is medium brown whereas it is red, dark purple red, and dark green to light green for 'G2X88544'. 'G2X885411' has a larger flower diameter than 'G2X88544'. The flower bud on 'G2X885411' is yellow green whereas the flower bud on 'G2X88544' is yellow.

Origin & Breeding History: 'G2X885411' originated from a cross conducted by the breeder, Michael S. Uchneat, of Garden Genetics LLC in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, USA, in August 2009, between proprietary seedlings, '3349-4', as the female parent and a mix of pollen collected from varieties '3349-1', '3349-2' and '3349-3'. From the resulting progeny, a single seedling was selected on September 1, 2011, in Bellefonte, based on foliage colour, seed pod colour, good basal branching, upright to spreading growth habit and plant vigour.

Tests & Trials: The comparative trial of 'G2X885411' was conducted in an outdoor irrigated container trial during the summer of 2018, at BioFlora Inc., in St. Thomas, Ontario. The trial included a total of 12 plants each of the candidate and reference variety. All plants were grown from rooted cuttings which were transplanted into 7.6 litre containers on July 26, 2017. The observations and measurements were taken from 10 plants, or 10 parts of plants, of each variety during the summer of 2018. All colour determinations were made using the 2007 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart. Mean differences were significant at the 5% confidence probability level based on a paired Student's t-test.
