Selection of the initial hop variety was based on large cone size and Alpha Acid content.
Tests & Trials: The comparative trial of 'Sea to Sky' was conducted in Pemberton, British Columbia in 2014 and 2015. The trial consisted of a minimum of 10 plants per variety, spaced 90 cm apart in the row with a spacing of 3.5 metres between rows. Measured characteristics were based on 10 measurements per variety.
