Summary: The plants of 'HPOPR013' are short while those of 'Jane' are of medium height. The leaf blade of 'HPOPR013' is very long while the leaf of 'Jane' is of medium length. The plants of 'HPOPR013' begin flowering mid to late season while the plants of 'Jane' begin flowering late in the season.

PLANT: non-climbing, upright growth habit, short
STEM: no fasciation, purplish, absent or few lenticels in autumn, white lenticels
PETIOLE: red
LEAF BLADE: very long, medium width, no lobing, elliptic, medium length tip, acute base, very shallow incisions, no variegation, medium green, no secondary colour, absent or weak glossiness, weak blistering
INFLORESCENCE: conical, tall, small to medium diameter, moderately conspicuous fertile flowers, irregular arrangement of sterile flowers, flowers mid to late season
CALYX: small to medium diameter
STERILE FLOWER: single type, 4-5 sepals per flower
SEPALS OF STERILE FLOWER: medium degree of overlapping, no incisions along margin, white (RHS 155A), no secondary colour
FERTILE FLOWER: white
Origin & Breeding History: 'HPOPR013' originated from an open pollination of the female parent variety 'Dharuma' with pollen from an unknown male parent in the summer of 2008 in Rijkevorsel, Belgium by the breeder Jan Oprins. The new variety was selected in June 2010 in Rijkevorsel, Belgium based on its stem colour, inflorescence shape and flower colour. 'HPOPR013' was first asexually propagated by softwood cuttings in June 2010 in Rijkevorsel, Belgium.
Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'HPOPR013' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, application number 2011/3061, purchased from the Community Plant Variety Office in Angers, France. The trials were conducted by Groupe d'Étude et de Contrôle des Variétés et des Semences in Brion, France between January 1, 2013 and December 15, 2014. Colour determinations were made using the 2007 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart.
