Summary: The plants of Danish Delight' are short to medium height whereas the plants of Rosie Posie' are short. The plants of Danish Delight' have a medium density of branching whereas the plants of Rosie Posie' have dense branching.

INFLORESCENCE: medium to long flowering part, broad flowering part, dense
CALYX: dark violet (RHS 77A) inner side
BUD: medium brown purple (RHS 185B)
COROLLA: lobe attitude moderately upwards, medium to long, medium to strong indentations of lower lobes
COROLLA TUBE: medium purple pink (RHS 61C) as corolla opens, dark blue pink (RHS 72D) when corolla fully opened
Origin & Breeding History: Danish Delight' originated from a cross between the female parent Blue Boa' and an unnamed male parent in the summer of 2016 in Aabybro, Denmark. Danish Delight' was selected in 2017 based on flowering characteristics. Further asexual propagation was conducted via softwood cuttings in the summer of 2018 in Aabydro, Denmark.
Tests & Trials: The detailed description of Danish Delight' is based on the UPOV report on Technical Examination application number 2021/0573, purchased from the Community Plant Variety Office in Angers, France. The trials were conducted by the Naktuinbouw in Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands in 2022. The colour determinations were made using the 2015 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart.
