Description:

PLANT: medium to tall, medium to broad
SHOOT (UPPER PART): absent or very weak intensity of anthocyanin colouration

PETIOLE: short to medium length, very weak to weak intensity of anthocyanin colouration on upper side
LEAF BLADE: medium length, narrow to medium width, medium to large length to width ratio
LEAF BLADE (UPPER SIDE): markings absent, very weak to weak intensity of anthocyanin colouration
LEAF BLADE (LOWER SIDE): green colouration between veins, green veins

PEDICEL: long to very long, weak to medium intensity of anthocyanin colouration
FLOWER: single type, broad, one colour excluding eye zone
COROLLA (INNER SIDE): dark red (RHS 45B to RHS 42A)
EYE ZONE: very large, red pink (RHS N45D) with medium red (more blue than RHS 46C) towards margin of upper petal
UPPER PETAL: broad
LATERAL PETAL: narrow to medium width
LOWER PETAL: medium to long

Origin & Breeding History: 'IMGZ0018' originated from a controlled cross conducted on August 20, 2013 in Enkhuizen, Netherlands between the proprietary female parental line, ‘K08-1410-2V' and the proprietary male parental line 'W0418-11V'. 'IMGZ0018' was selected on April 5, 2014 based on flower colour, branching habit, and flower size.

Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'IMGZ0018' is based on the UPOV Report of Technical Examination, application number 2022/3018, purchased from the Community Plant Variety Office in Angers, France. The trials were conducted by the Bundessortenamt in Hannover, Germany in 2024. Colour determinations were made using the 2015 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart.
