Summary: The leaf blade of ‘IMGZ0022' is narrow to medium width whereas that of ‘Odyorestes' is medium width. The leaf blade length to width ratio for ‘IMGZ0022' is medium to large whereas that of ‘Odyorestes' is small to medium. The intensity of the anthocyanin colouration on the upper side of the leaf blade for 'IMGZ0022' is weak whereas it is very weak to weak for ‘Odyorestes'.

Origin & Breeding History: 'IMGZ0022' originated from a controlled cross conducted on March 15, 2017 in Gilroy, California, U.S.A. between the proprietary female parental line ‘W5516-2' and the proprietary male parental line 'W5590-5'. 'IMGZ0022' was selected on February 15, 2018 based on flower colour, branching habit, and flower size.
Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'IMGZ0022' is based on the UPOV Report of Technical Examination, application number 2022/3017, purchased from the Community Plant Variety Office in Angers, France. The trials were conducted by the Bundessortenamt in Hannover, Germany in 2024. Colour determinations were made using the 2015 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart.
