Summary: The plants of ‘LANZ0046' are of a medium density while those of ‘LAN 48' are sparse. The shoots of ‘LANZ0046' have a semi-upright attitude while those of ‘LAN 48' have a semi-upright to horizontal attitude. The leaf blade of ‘LANZ0046' is short to medium in length while that of ‘LAN 48' is long. The base of the leaf blade of ‘LANZ0046' is truncate while that of ‘LAN 48' is acute. The peduncle of ‘LANZ0046' is of a medium length while that of ‘LAN 48' is short.

Origin & Breeding History: ‘LANZ0046' originated from a controlled cross between the female parent, a proprietary seedling designated ‘I0043-1' and the male parent ‘Landmark White' conducted in August 2017 in Gilroy, California, U.S.A. The resulting seed was sown in March 2018, from which a single unique seedling was selected in June 2018 based on plant growth habit, length of flowering period, flower and foliage colour and seed set.
Tests & Trials: The detailed description of ‘LANZ0046' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, application number 20221785, purchased from the Community Plant Variety Office, Angers, France. The trial was conducted at the Bundessortenamt in Hannover, Germany, in 2023. Colour determinations were made using the 2015 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart.
