Summary: The plants of 'Anouk Deluxe 1205' are medium to large while the plants of 'Minaminokagayaki' are of medium size. The foliage of 'Anouk Deluxe 1205' is dark coloured while the foliage of 'Minaminokagayaki' is medium to dark coloured. The maximum width of the spike of 'Anouk Deluxe 1205' is very narrow to narrow whereas the spike of 'Minaminokagayaki' is narrow. Including the first whorl, the spike of 'Anouk Deluxe 1205' is medium length while the spike of 'Minaminokagayaki' is short to medium length. The infertile bracts of 'Anouk Deluxe 1205' are short to medium length whereas the infertile bracts of 'Minaminokagayaki' are long. The infertile bract of 'Anouk Deluxe 1205' is violet while the infertile bract of 'Minaminokagayaki' is lighter violet. The calyx of 'Anouk Deluxe 1205' has medium to dense pubescence while the calyx of 'Minaminokagayaki' has weak to medium pubescence.

Origin & Breeding History: 'Anouk Deluxe 1205' is a product of a planned breeding program conducted by the breeder, Lammert Koning, in Boskoop, Netherlands. It originated from a controlled cross conducted in May 2011, between the Lavandula stoechas 'Anouk', as the female parent, and the Lavandula stoechas variety 'Sanne', as the male parent. From the resulting progeny, 'Anouk Deluxe 1205' was selected in May 2012, in Boskoop, for its narrow upright plant growth habit, number of infertile bracts produced per flower bud, strong reblooming and strong branches. 'Anouk Deluxe 1205' was first propagated by vegetative cuttings in August 2012, in Boskoop, Netherlands.
Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'Anouk Deluxe 1205' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, application number 2013/2383, purchased from the Community Plant Variety Office, in Angers, France. The trial was conducted by the Groupe d'Étude et de contrôle des Variétés Et des Semences, in Cavaillon, France, from 2014 to 2015. The colour determinations were made using the 2007 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart.
