Variety used for comparison: Estelena
Summary: The intensity of the green colour on the leaves of 'Rabello' is dark whereas that for 'Estelena' is medium to dark. The blistering on the leaves of 'Rabello' is of a medium degree whereas that for 'Estelena' is very weak to weak. The head for 'Rabello' is small to medium sized whereas the head for 'Estelena' is medium sized.

Origin & Breeding History: 'Rabello' (breeder's reference 41-CO7708 RZ) originated from a cross between two proprietary parent lines conducted in Spain in 2015. Final selection of 'Rabello' was made in January 2019 based on disease resistance and speed of bolting. The variety was stable after 5 generations of pedigree selection.
Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'Rabello' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, application number SLA4577, purchased from the Naktuinbouw in Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands. The trial was conducted by the Naktuinbouw in Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands from 2021 to 2022.
