Variety used for comparison: 'Hot Springs Dark Blu'

Summary: The shoot of 'KLELE20100' has absent or very sparse pubescence while that of 'Hot Springs Dark Blu' has dense pubescence. The leaf blade of 'KLELE20100' is long to very long and broad to very broad while the leaf of 'Hot Springs Dark Blu' is medium to long and of a medium width. The lower side of the leaf blade of 'KLELE20100' has an absent or very weak intensity of anthocyanin colouration while that of 'Hot SpringsDark Blu' has a weak intensity of anthocyanin colouration. The corolla of 'KLELE20100' is long while that of 'Hot Springs Dark Blu' is short to medium in length. The lower lip of the corolla of 'KLELE20100' is broad while that of 'Hot Springs Dark Blu' is of a medium width. The middle lobe of the lower lip on the corolla of 'KLELE20100' is broad while it is of a medium width for 'Hot Springs Dark Blu'. The main colour on the inner side of the lower lip for 'KLELE20100' is dark violet blue while it is a different dark violet blue for that of 'Hot Springs Dark Blu'.

LEAF BLADE: long to very long, broad to very broad, medium to deep incisions of margin, obovate shape, medium intensity of green on upper side, absent or very weak intensity anthocyanin colouration on lower side

Origin & Breeding History: 'KLELE20100' originated from a controlled cross between the female parent 'LE-2015-5141' and the male parent 'LE-2015-0015' conducted in the Klemm & Sohn breeding program in June 2015 in Stuttgart, Germany. From the resulting progeny, the new variety was selected in April 2016 based on compact plant habit, flower colour and colour pattern, and early flowering.

Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'KLELE20100' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, grant number 62997, application number 2021/1320, reference number LOB 183, purchased from the Community Plant Variety Office in Angers, France. The trial was conducted by the Bundessortenamt in Hannover, Germany in 2022. All colour determinations were made using the 2015 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart.
