Description:

PLANT: upright attitude of shoots, short to medium height

SHOOT: very short to short, short to medium length internodes, medium thickness, dark green colouration, absent or very weak intensity of anthocyanin colouration, absent or very sparse pubescence

LEAF BLADE: medium to long, broad, medium to deep incisions of margin, obovate shape, medium intensity of green on upper side, weak intensity anthocyanin colouration on lower side

FLOWER: single type
COROLLA: medium length
UPPER COROLLA LIP: inner side dark blue violet (RHS N89C) with light blue to white along margin
LOWER COROLLA LIP: medium length, medium to broad, broad middle lobe, inner side mainly medium violet blue (RHS N95C) excluding white zone with light violet blue (RHS 97D) secondary colour, medium to large elongated and rounded white zone, small markings present, outer side medium violet blue (RHS 95D), overlapping arrangement of lobes
COROLLA TUBE (OUTER SIDE): dark blue violet (RHS 89C)

Origin & Breeding History: 'KLELE20103' originated from a controlled cross between the female parent 'LE-2015-5129' and the male parent 'LE-2015-5135' conducted in the Klemm & Sohn breeding program in June 2015 in Stuttgart, Germany. From the resulting progeny, the new variety was selected in April 2016 based on compact plant habit, flower colour and colour pattern, and early flowering.

Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'KLELE20103' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, grant number 62996, application number 2021/1319, reference number LOB 182, purchased from the Community Plant Variety Office in Angers, France. The trial was conducted by the Bundessortenamt in Hannover, Germany in 2022. All colour determinations were made using the 2015 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart.
