Variety used for comparison: 'MGC 1002'

Summary: The central leaflet of 'DKJ127' is of medium length and is medium to broad whereas the central leaflet of 'MGC 1002' is medium to long and is medium width. The THC content of the inflorescence of 'DKJ127' is lower than the THC content of the inflorescence of 'MGC 1002'.

PLANT: non-fibre type, vegetatively propagated, medium to tall
SEX EXPRESSION: low proportion of hermaphrodite and male plants, high proportion of female plants

STEM: medium green, medium thickness, medium depth of grooves, medium pith thickness in cross-section
INTERNODE: medium length

PETIOLE: medium length, strong intensity of anthocyanin colouration
LEAF: medium number of leaflets, no variegation, dark green
CENTRAL LEAFLET: medium length, medium to broad

INFLORESCENCE: high to very high THC content, absent or very low CBD content
FEMALE FLOWER: flowers early to mid-season, absent or weak intensity of anthocyanin colouration
STIGMA: long, medium width, absent or weak contortion

Origin & Breeding History: 'DKJ127' was developed from a selection of a heterogeneous population of the variety 'Jack Herer'. The first propagation took place on August 1, 2019 in Marslev, Denmark. Selections were based on THC content, germination rate, rooting characteristics, yield, and disease resistance.

Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'DKJ127' is based on the CPVO report of Technical Examination, application number 2021/3223, purchased from the Community Plant Variety Office in Angers, France. The trials were conducted at the Naktuinbouw- Variety Center, Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands in 2022.
