Origin & Breeding History: The variety 'INNEMBLORA' originated from a controlled cross conducted by the breeder Mrs. Silvia Hofmann, an employee of InnovaPlant GmbH. & Co. KG. in Gensingen, Germany. The cross was conducted between two proprietary seedlings, female parent designated as 'N 05 82-1' and male parent designated as 'N 04 46-48' in Heidesheim, Germany in August 2011. From the resulting progeny, the new variety was selected in April 2012, for its flower colour, seed sterility and good summer performance. Asexual reproduction of 'INNEMBLORA' was first conducted by vegetative cuttings in September 2012 in Gensingen, Germany.

Tests & Trials: The comparative trial for 'INNEMBLORA' was conducted in a polyhouse during the spring of 2016 at BioFlora Inc. in St. Thomas, Ontario. The trial included 15 plants each of the candidate and reference variety. Rooted cuttings were transplanted into 11 cm pots on April 15, 2016. Observations and measurements were taken from 10 plants, or parts of plants, of the candidate variety on May 12, 2016. All colour determinations were made using the 2007 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart.
