Origin & Breeding History: ‘INNEMCONUT' (experimental designation n19 002-029) originated from a controlled cross conducted in the summer of 2018 in Heidesheim, Germany between two proprietary seedlings, ‘N 02 82-1' as the female parent and ‘N 17 12-150' as the male parent. ‘INNEMCONUT' was selected as a single flowering plant in the spring of 2019 based on plant vigor, branching, flowering period, flower colour, flower fragrance and length of flowering period. Asexual reproduction was first conducted by vegetative cuttings in the spring of 2019 in Gensingen, Germany.

Tests & Trials: The comparative trial for ‘INNEMCONUT' was conducted in a polyhouse during the spring of 2025 in St. Thomas, Ontario. The trial included 20 plants each of the candidate and reference variety. All plants were grown from rooted cuttings and transplanted into 15 cm pots on April 4, 2025. Observations and measurements were taken from 10 plants, or 10 parts of plants, on May 14, 2025. Mean differences were significant at the 5% confidence probability level based on a paired Student's t-test. All colour determinations were made using the 2015 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart.
