Description:

PLANT: semi-upright growth habit, short to medium height

LEAF: medium length, broad, shallow margin indentations, no variegation, medium green

YOUNG FLOWER HEAD: violet (RHS 84A) ray floret
FLOWER HEAD: no paracorolla, medium number of ray florets, medium to large diameter
RAY FLORET: medium length, medium width, low length to width ratio, obtuse apex, inward rolling of longitudinal margins present on some flower heads, less than one third of floret with rolled margin, absent or very narrow ring at base, ring at base blue violet (RHS N82C), basal part blue violet (RHS N82C), middle and apical part blue violet (RHS 83D-N82A), medium conspicuousness of longitudinal stripes, tip slightly different colour from apical part, lower side violet
DISC: daisy type, medium diameter, violet

Origin & Breeding History: 'KLEOE12190' originated from a hybrid cross conducted by the breeder in August 2008, in Stuttgart, Germany between the female parent 'SU 10' and the male parent 'X 95'. Seedlings were selected in August 2009, in Stuttgart based on flower colour, flower size, flower shape, leaf characteristics and branching characteristics. The selected seedlings were evaluated in greenhouse trials from April to May of 2010, 2011 and 2012 where they were assessed for the same characteristics. A single seedling was selected for commercialization and named 'KLEOE12190' in May 2012, in Stuttgart, Germany.

Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'KLEOE12190' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, application number 20131670, purchased from the Community Plant Variety Office, in Angers, France. The trial was conducted by the Bundessortenamt, in Hannover, Germany, in 2014. The colour determinations were made using the 2007 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart.
