In 2009, 'CH 201' was selected as a single plant from among a population of resulting seedlings, based on disease resistance, eating quality, storage ability, and appearance.
Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'CH 201' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, application number 4070245, purchased from the Groupe d'étude et de contrôle des variétés et des semences in Beaucouzé, France. The trials were conducted at the Institut national de la recherche agronomique in Beaucouzé, France from 2014 to 2017.
