All plants were grown from cuttings rooted into 6cm cells and grown for 9 weeks with one pinch at 5 weeks. Plants were cold treated and given 14 hours of daylight for 4 weeks following which plants were transplanted into 15cm pots. Plants were grown for a further 12 weeks until flowering. All colour determinations were made using the 2001 RHS colour chart and measured characteristics were based on ten measurements.
