'KLEP02060' is an ivy pelargonium variety which has an upright growth habit. The stems are green in colour, medium in thickness and have dense pubescence. The leaf has a partly to strongly overlapping base and moderate to strong lobing. The leaf margins are entire and have strong waviness. There is very sparse to sparse pubescence on the upper side of the leaf blade. The colour of the leaf blade is light to medium green and there is no variegation. The strongly conspicuous leaf zone on the upper side of the leaf blade is reddish-brown in colour. The petiole has moderate pubescence.

'KLEP02060' belongs to the pink inflorescence colour group. The peduncle has dense to very dense pubescence and absent to very weak anthocyanin colouration. The flower buds are elliptic in shape and the florets are double. The petal margins are entire and the upper petal width is medium. There are stripes and small spot markings which are moderate to strong in conspicuousness on the upper petals and there are no markings on the lower and inner petals. The upper petal has a very small white zone at the base. The pedicel has moderate pubescence and is green in colour. The sepals are green in colour with some red colour at the base.

Origin & Breeding History: 'KLEP02060' originated from a cross between 'Klegatta' and 'Kleblue', made in the autumn of 1998 in Stuttgart, Germany. The F1 seeds were planted in the winter of 1999 and 'KLEP02060' was selected in June, 1999 based on its compact growth habit and flower colour.

Tests & Trials: Tests and trials for 'KLEP02060' were conducted St. Thomas, Ontario in the summer of 2003. The plants were grown from rooted cuttings transplanted into 25cm baskets in week 16. Each basket contained 3 cuttings with a total of six baskets per variety. All colour characteristics were determined using the 2001 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) colour chart and measured characteristics were based on ten plant measurements.
