Summary: The anthocyanin colouration of the stem nodes of 'Jack Miller' is of medium to strong intensity while that of 'Raptor' is of medium intensity. The leaf blade margin of 'Jack Miller' has weak to medium undulation while that of 'Raptor' has weak undulation. In cross-section, the leaf of 'Jack Miller' is moderately concave while the leaf of 'Raptor' is flat to moderately concave. The fruit apex of 'Jack Miller' is moderately depressed, but deeper than that of 'Raptor', which is also moderately depressed.

Origin & Breeding History: 'Jack Miller' (breeder's reference 35-1177 RZ) originated from a controlled cross conducted between two proprietary lines in June 2015 in De Lier, Netherlands. From the resulting progeny, the hybrid orange sweet pepper variety 'Jack Miller' was selected in September 2016 for its plant vigour, fruit quality, yield, and resistance to Tobamovirus.
Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'Jack Miller' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, application number PPS1899, purchased from the Naktuinbouw in Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands. The trial was conducted by the Naktuinbouw in Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands in 2019 and 2020.
