Summary: The leaves of 'USTUN69002' are longer than those of 'Marvel Beauty Raspberry'. The sepals of 'USTUN69002' are longer than those of 'Marvel Beauty Raspberry'. The flowers of 'USTUN69002' are wider than those of 'Blanket Lemon Glow' and narrower than those of 'Marvel Beauty Raspberry'. The veins on the inner side of the corolla of 'USTUN69002' have medium conspicuousness whereas those on 'Blanket Lemon Glow' are weak and those on 'Marvel Beauty Raspberry' are strong. The inner side of the corolla of 'USTUN69002' is purple with a medium sized white area at the transition to the corolla tube whereas 'Blanket Lemon Glow' is blue pink to light blue pink with medium sized light yellow area at the transition to the corolla tube and 'Marvel Beauty Raspberry' is purple red with a small white area at the transition to the corolla tube. The veins on the inner side of the corolla tube of 'USTUN69002' have weak conspicuousness whereas those of 'Marvel Beauty Raspberry' have medium conspicuousness.

LEAF BLADE: ovate to elliptic shape, narrow acute apex, no variegation, medium green on upper side, absent or weak blistering

PEDICEL: absent or very weak intensity of anthocyanin colouration
FLOWER: single type, salverform shape
COROLLA: weak to medium degree of lobing, shallow incisions of margin, weak undulation, medium conspicuousness of veins, yellow (RHS 5A) veins, when newly open inner side is purple (RHS 67A) with white (RHS 155B) at transition to corolla tube, when fully open inner side is purple (more purple than RHS 67A) with medium sized white (RHS 155B) area at transition to corolla tube, when aged inner side is purple to blue pink (closest to RHS N74B-C)
COROLLA LOBE: truncate apex
COROLLA TUBE (INNER SIDE): yellow (duller than RHS 5B with green tones), weak conspicuousness of veins
ANTHER: yellowish white before dehiscence

Origin & Breeding History: 'USTUN69002' originated from a controlled cross conducted by the breeder, Ushio Sakazaki, in Higashiomi, Shiga, Japan on May 20, 2012. The cross was made between the female parent, 'Bluetta Pink Morn' and the male parent, 'Little Holiday Pink Morn'. The new plant was selected from the resulting progeny on June 5, 2013 in Bonsall, California, USA. 'USTUN69002' was selected based on its growth habit, flowering time, flower colour and flower pattern. This variety was first propagated by vegetative tip cuttings on June 6, 2013 in Bonsall, California, USA.

Tests & Trials: The comparative trial for 'USTUN69002' was conducted in a polyhouse during the spring of 2016 at BioFlora Inc. in St. Thomas, Ontario. The trial included a total of 20 plants each of the candidate and reference varieties. All plants were grown from rooted cuttings and transplanted into 15 cm pots on April 17, 2016. Observations and measurements were taken from 10 plants or plants of plants of each variety on May 17 and 18, 2016. All colour determinations were made using the 2007 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart.
