LEAF: short, narrow to medium width, ovate, obtuse apex, no variegation, medium green

PEDICEL: short, absent or very weak anthocyanin colouration
CALYX: short, very narrow
FLOWER: single type, narrow
COROLLA: weak degree of lobing, weak undulation
COROLLA LOBE (INNER SIDE): absent or very weak conspicuousness of veins; mainly medium blue pink (RHS 61D) when fully opened, small area of dark orange (RHS 30C) secondary colour at transition to corolla tube, absent or very few flowers with different sized area of secondary colour; light orange (RHS 26D) when newly opened, medium purple red (RHS 58B) when aged, cuspidate apex
COROLLA TUBE: medium width, dark brown purple (RHS 178A) on inner side, weak conspicuousness of veins on inner side, dark brown purple (lighter than RHS N186C) on outer side
ANTHER: whitish pollen

Origin & Breeding History: 'PEHY0058' originated from a controlled cross between the female parent, a proprietary breeding line designated 'BB0294-2V', and the male parent, a proprietary breeding line designated 'BA0514-1V', conducted in Enkhuizen, the Netherlands in October 2016. The new variety 'PEHY0058' was finally selected in May 2017 based on plant habit, time of flowering, flower colour and size.

Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'PEHY0058' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination application number 2021/1880, purchased from the Community Plant Variety Office in Angers, France. The trials were conducted by the Bundessortenamt in Hannover, Germany in 2022. All colour determinations were made using the 2015 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart.
