Description:

PLANT: upright to spreading growth habit, short, short to medium length shoot

LEAF BLADE: short to medium length, very narrow to narrow, elliptic shape, rounded apex, no variegation, medium green on upper side

PEDICEL: very short, absent or very weak intensity of anthocyanin colouration
CALYX LOBE: short, very narrow
FLOWER: single type, very narrow, strong degree of lobing
COROLLA LOBE: absent or very weak undulation of margin, absent or very weak conspicuousness of veins, cuspidate apex
COROLLA LOBE (INNER SIDE): dark blue pink (RHS 72D) when newly opened, dark blue pink (RHS N74D) when fully opened, light violet (RHS 75C) when aged
COROLLA TUBE: very narrow, inner side is medium yellow orange (RHS 20A), weak conspicuousness of veins on inner side, outer side is medium yellow orange (RHS 18A)
ANTHER: whitish pollen

Origin & Breeding History: 'PEHY0082' originated from a controlled cross conducted in June 2019 in Enkhuizen, Netherlands between proprietary female parental line 'PETBD1770-1V' and the male parent variety 'Itsy Magenta'. A resulting seedling was selected in November 2019 based on plant growth habit, flowering time, flower colour and flower size.

Tests & Trials: The detailed description of ' PEHY0082' is based on the UPOV Report of Technical Examination, application number 2023/2071, purchased from Community Plant Variety Office in Angers, France. The trial was conducted by the Bundessortenamt in Hannover, Germany in 2024. Colour determinations were made using the 2015 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart.
