Origin & Breeding History: 'PER6115' originated from a naturally occurring whole plant mutation of the Euphorbia pulcherrima variety '490' discovered in December 2014 in Encinitas, California, U.S.A. 'PER6115' was selected based on its plant growth habit, vigorous growth, large inflorescence, bract colour and appearance and post-production longevity. Asexual reproduction of 'PER6115' was originally conducted by terminal vegetative cuttings in January 2015 in Encinitas, California, U.S.A.
Tests & Trials: The comparative trial for 'PER6115' was conducted in 2017 in St. Catherines, Ontario. The trial included 20 plants each of the candidate and reference varieties. All plants were grown from rooted cuttings and transplanted into 15 cm pots on July 27, 2017. The pots were spaced 30 cm apart, pot centre to centre. Measured characteristics were based on measurements taken from 10 plants, or parts of plants, on December 5, 2017. All colour determinations were made using the 2007 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart.
