Origin & Breeding History: 'EURZ0012' originated from a controlled cross conducted by the breeder, Ronald Snijder, in Enkhuizen, Netherlands in September 2012. The cross was made between the female parent, a proprietary seedling designated '13450', and the male parent variety 'NPCW08153'. The resultant seed was sown in July of 2013. A single unique seedling was selected in October of 2013 based on growth habit, branching characteristics, bract colour and inflorescence size.

Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'EURZ0012' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, application number 2017/2745, purchased from the Community Plant Variety Office in Angers, France. The trial was conducted at the University of Aarhus in Aarslev, Denmark, in 2018. The colour determinations were made using the 2001 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart.
