Origin & Breeding History: 'Dopoinatla' originated from a controlled cross between two proprietary seedlings, the female parent designated EE09-000701-001, and the male parent designated EE08-002815-001 in Rheinberg, Germany in July 2013. From the resulting progeny, 'Dopoinatla' was selected in December 2018 based on its plant growth habit, plant vigour, shoot strength and bract colour. In January 2019, asexual reproduction of 'Dopoinatla' was first conducted by terminal vegetative cuttings in Rheinberg, Germany.

Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'Dopoinatla' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, application number 2020/0167, purchased from the Community Plant Variety Office in Angers, France. The trials were conducted at the Research Centre for Cultivar Testing (COBORU) in Slupia Wielka, Poland, in 2021 and 2022. The colour determinations were made using the 2015 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart.
