Summary: The plants of 'G15180' are shorter than the plants of 'Splash Select White'. The stem of 'G15180' is medium in thickness with absent or very weak intensity of anthocyanin colouration whereas the stem of 'Splash Select White' is thin with weak to medium intensity of anthocyanin colouration. The petiole of 'G15180' is shorter than that of 'Splash Select White'.

Origin & Breeding History: 'G15180' was bred and developed by the breeder, Michael S. Uchneat in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, USA. 'G15180' originated from an open sib-pollination between two proprietary varieties between April and June 2015. The new variety 'G15180' was selected as a single plant in September, 2015, based on plant growth vigour, mounded growth habit, leaf thickness, leaf colour, flowering time and sun tolerance. 'G15180' was first propagated by terminal cuttings in September 2015 in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, U.S.A.

Tests & Trials: The comparative trial for 'G15180' was conducted in a polyhouse during the spring and summer of 2020, at BioFlora Inc., in St. Thomas, Ontario. The trial included 20 plants each of the candidate and reference variety. All plants were grown from rooted cuttings and transplanted into 1 litre containers on April 2020. The observations and measurements were taken from 10 plants or 10 parts of plants of each variety on July 16, 2020. All colour determinations were made using the 2007 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart.
