PLANT: upright growth habit, medium to many current season shoots, bears fruit mainly on previous season's cane in summer and on current season's cane in autumn, vegetative bud burst mid-season to late
VERY YOUNG SHOOT: strong to very strong intensity of anthocyanin colouration of apex during rapid growth
CURRENT SEASON'S CANE: emerges early to mid-season, medium degree of glaucosity, medium intensity of anthocyanin colouration, medium length, medium length of internode, short vegetative bud
PREVIOUS SEASON'S CANE: medium length, brownish grey
SPINES: dense, large base, medium to long, brownish purple

PEDICEL: medium to many spines
LEAF: dark green on upper side, three leaflets, medium degree of rugosity, relative position of lateral leaflets is not touching
LEAFLET: convex profile in cross-section
TERMINAL LEAFLET: long, broad

FLOWERING: begins early to mid-season on previous season's cane, begins early to mid-season on current season's cane

Origin & Breeding History: 'Advaberimar' was bred and developed by the breeders Andreas Smaal, of Advanced Berry Breeding, Netherlands, and Gerrit de Weert, of De Weert Beheer B.V., Netherlands. 'Advaberimar' was selected in Rossum, Gelderland, Netherands, for its fruit characteristics including quality, productivity, and uniformity.

Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'Advaberimar' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, application number 2011/0114, purchased from the Community Plant Variety Office, in Angers, France. The trial was conducted by the Bundessortenamt, in Prüfstelle Wurzen, Germany, from 2013 to 2014.
