The flower centre is normal. The corolla is semi-double and dark red in colour. The upper and lower side of the petal has a very small spot on the base. The petal margin has medium reflexing and undulation. The outer stamen has a yellow filament. The style is medium in length, yellow in colour and has no hairs on the upper half. The stigma is positioned above the anthers. The receptacle is small in size, pitcher shaped and has no prickles. The flower of 'Noare' has a weak, tea fragrance. 'Noare' is moderately resistant to mildew and resistant to black spot.

Selection criteria included strong floral characteristics with almost continuous flowering, good disease resistance and vigorous growth.
Tests & Trials: Tests and trials for 'Noare' were conducted in the summer of 2002 at Pan American Nursery Products Inc. in Surrey, British Columbia. The trials consisted of six plants per variety grown outdoors in 20 cm pots.
