Summary: The upper side of the leaf on 'Noa38121' has strong glossiness whereas the leaf of 'KORgehaque' has weak glossiness and 'Noa1811108' has medium glossiness. The leaflet of 'Noa38121' has weak undulation of the margin whereas that of 'KORgehaque has medium undulation of the margin. The flower of 'Noa38121' is large whereas that of 'KORgehaque' is of medium diameter. The flower of 'Noa38121' has many petals whereas that of 'Noa1811108' has few to a medium number of petals. The main colour of the inner side of the petal is medium purple red for 'Noa38121' whereas it is dark pink red for that of 'KORgehaque'. The basal spot on the inner side of the petal for 'Noa38121' is small whereas that of 'KORgehaque' is medium sized. The main colour of the outer side of the petal is blue pink for 'Noa38121' whereas it is purple red for 'KORgehaque'.

Origin & Breeding History: 'Noa38121' originated from a cross conducted in Gütersloh, Germany in April 2009 between a proprietary variety and the variety 'Westseit'. The variety 'Noa38121' was selected in 2010 based on growth habit, flowering characteristics and fragrance. Asexual reproduction was first conducted by terminal semi-softwood cuttings in the summer 2010 in Gütersloh, Germany.

Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'Noa38121' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, application number 2020/066, purchased from the Plant Breeders' Rights Office, Intellectual Property Australia. The trial was conducted in Clyde, Victoria, Australia from November 2020 to May 2021. All colour determinations were made using the 1995 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart.
