Origin & Breeding History: Auseasel' originated from a controlled cross between two unnamed seedlings conducted in Albrighton, United Kingdom in the summer of 2009. The new variety Auseasel' was selected from the resulting progeny as a single unique seedling in July of 2010 based on flower size, flower colour, number of petals, repeat flowering, and overall plant health. Auseasel' was selected for commercial introduction in May of 2017.
Tests & Trials: The detailed description of Auseasel' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, application number AFP 5/2137, purchased from the Plant Variety Rights Office in Cambridge, United Kingdom. The trial was conducted at the National Institute for Agricultural Botany (NIAB) in Cambridge, United Kingdom in 2018. Colour determinations were made using the 2007 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Colour Chart.
