Variety Description
Varieties used for comparison: 'Altess', 'Evita', 'SG 134' and 'Verity'
Summary: The anthocyanin colouration of the stipule of 'P061103' is of very weak to weak intensity whereas that of 'Altess' is of weak to medium intensity. The fruit of 'P061103' is moderately longer than it is wide whereas the fruit of 'Evita' is equally as long as it is wide. The shape of the terminal fruit of 'P061103' is moderately different than that of other fruits on the plant while the terminal fruit for 'Verity' is very slightly to slightly different than the other fruit. The plants of 'P061103' begin flowering early whereas the plants of 'SG 134' begin flowering very early to early.

Origin & Breeding History: 'P061103' originated from a controlled cross between internal breeding clones conducted by the breeder in America, Netherlands in May 2009. The cross was made between variety 'C3609', as the female parent, and '208-22', as the male parent. In August 2011, 'P061103' was selected as a single plant from the resulting progeny based on its fruit quality, shape, glossiness and production; and resistance to common diseases in America, Netherlands. 'P061103' was first propagated by vegetative propagation in 2011 in America, Netherlands.
Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'P061103' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, application number 2015/1653, purchased from the Community Plant Variety Office in Angers, France. The trials were conducted by the Bundessortenamt at Prüfstelle Wurzen in Hannover, Germany in 2017 and 2018.
