Variety used for comparison: 'Garincha'
Summary: The leaflets of 'Ternetto' are of medium size whereas the leaflets of 'Garincha' are small to medium size. The intensity of green colour of the upper side of the leaf is medium for 'Ternetto' whereas the intensity is light to medium for 'Garincha'. The attitude of the petiole of the leaflet in relation to the main axis of the leaf is semi-erect for 'Ternetto' whereas the attitude of the petiole of the leaflet of 'Garincha' is semi-erect to horizontal.

Origin & Breeding History: 'Ternetto' (breeder designation 72-190 RZ) is a slightly blocky snack tomato variety designed for loose harvest and used for production in high tech greenhouses. It originated from a cross conducted in August 2012, in De Lier, Netherlands. The resulting hybrid, 'Ternetto', was selected on June 2013 for its uniform and stable fruit shape, regular cluster shape, fruit colour, fruit taste and shelf life.
Tests & Trials: The detailed description of 'Ternetto' is based on the UPOV report of Technical Examination, application number TMT2827, purchased from Naktuinbouw in Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands. The trials were conducted by Naktuinbouw in Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands from 2015 to 2016.
